• Level 1-Wheel Throwing Foundations

    This class is a prerequisite for Level 2 or Level 3 if you have no prior experience working with clay. Classes are now 2.5 hours in length.

  • Level 2-Wheel Throwing Functional Basics

    Build on your skills including centering & pulling walls. Focus on cylinders, mugs, small plates & bowls. Classes are 3 hours in length. Students also have 24/7 access to use our classroom for practice when there is no class in session.

  • Level 3 - Wheel Throwing Intermediate Skill Building

    This class is for those who are ready to level up their clay designs and develop more advanced forms.  The class will be based somewhat on student skill level and interest but topics may include:  working with larger amounts of clay (5+ lbs), more complicated forms such as lidded jars, serving pieces such as large bowls and platters, how to throw to a gauge or more uniformly.  More in depth consideration will be give to item design.

  • Beginner Hand Building

    Learn various techniques for making both functional & decorative pottery, along with texturing, glazing & decorating options.

  • Saturday Night Claymates

    A fun night out for your and your favourite Claymate. You'll each work on your own pottery wheel to make one or two masterpieces. You'll select your glaze colour & leave your pieces with us to do the trimming, firings, and glazing. Your masterpieces will be ready for you in approximately two weeks.

  • Wheel Sampler

    Join us for this 2 hour lesson as we introduce you to the art of throwing on a pottery wheel. A great option for those who want to give it a try before committing to a 6 week class! You'll make 1 or 2 pieces, then select your glaze colour & leave your pieces with us to do the trimming, firings and glazing. Your masterpieces will be ready for you in approximately two weeks.
