Memberships

Members are established potters who independently work on their craft.  Members wishing to use our pottery wheels should have taken a minimum of two 6-week pottery sessions either with us, or with another studio, to ensure they are able to throw successfully on their own.  If you have not taken your pottery sessions with us, you will be asked to provide samples of your work.  Instructors are available for private bookings and all members are welcome to enroll in workshops.

Members who enroll in a Level 2 or Level 3 class receive a discount of $134 which represents the cost of clay and associated firing fees included in the cost of the class and includes a 25% on the base cost of the class.  Members who take a Level 2 or Level 3 class will pay firing fees on any work they fire that was made in the class. Members purchase clay from our website which is the same price offered at Ceramics Canada.

The cost for membership is $50 + GST per month and includes 24/7 access to the studio as well as a private storage locker for personal belongings.  There is an additional hourly fee for wheel usage; which is booked in advance via an online, and mobile, application called Skedda.  Skedda is also used to book time for glazing or hand building, neither of which has an additional charge.

General Member Area - social, active throwing space for $6.00/hour + GST with a one-hour minimum.  Fees are due upon booking.

Premium Member Area - a more private, quiet space for $8.00/hour + GSTwith a one-hour minimum.  Fees are due upon booking.

Members work is subject to a firing fee which includes bisque firing, a selection of dipping glazes, and glaze firing.  Firing fees start at $1.50 and increase with the size of the piece.  All new members must take our Glaze Workshop prior to glazing any pieces with our dipping glazes.
