Clay Club Membership
Clay Club Membership
Our Clay Club Membership is ideal for the person seeking weekly instruction but with less structure than a traditional 6 week class. We offer continuous enrollment so your four week session begins as soon as you enroll (with the first available session beginning the first week of June).
Prerequisite: It is strongly advised that Clay Club members have taken a Level 1 course or have some previous experience with clay that includes wedging, centering clay, and pulling walls.
Offered in four week sessions, our Clay Club offers you the following:
INSTRUCTION:
A weekly 3 hour class with a dedicated instructor. The focus of each session will be dictated by the student group. Have a fun project in mind? Struggling with a specific skill? Looking to have someone available while throwing or trimming to answer your questions? This is the place for you!
PRACTICE TIME:
Access to our classroom when it is not in use. Clay Club members do not have access to any of the tools, wheels, or other equipment outside of the classroom during Studio Time. Click here for the classroom schedule.
STORAGE:
A half shelf in our classroom for storage of your clay, tools, and work in process.
TOOLS:
Use of our tools during class time. You will need your own tools for Studio Time.
ADDITIONAL COSTS:
Clay: Students may purchase clay from our studio, or may bring in outside clay as long as it is a Cone 6 clay.
Firing Fees: Students will pay a firing fee for each piece they choose to fire. The firing fee covers bisque firing, glaze firing, as well as use of our studio dipping glazes.
Clay Club Membership fees are billed automatically during the last week of your 4 week session. This billing will include your firing fees to date, along with the fee for the upcoming 4 week session. If you do not plan to continue for the following 4 weeks, please notify us by the end of your third week.
