Level 1 - Wheel Throwing Foundations

This beginner level class will teach you the basics of working with clay.  You will learn proper clay handling including wedging, how to center your clay on the wheel, clay safety, studio hygiene, trimming and glazing.  Minimum age requirement is 16.  

TOTAL NUMBER OF HOURS:  
6 consecutive weeks (unless there is a stat holiday), 2.5 hours per week.  15 total hours

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Class fee includes clay, use of our classroom tools, and all firing fees.  There are no additional fees.

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS

Classes cancelled within 72 hours of the start date are subject to a refund or credit only if a replacement is found for your signup. Classes cancelled anytime prior to 72 hours from the start date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover our processing fees. Alternatively, you may request your refund be given in a Gift Card in which case there are no fees and the entire amount will be refunded to a gift card for you to use towards a future class.  Classes are subject to cancellation by Fired Clay in the case of low enrollment. If classes are cancelled by Fired Clay, you will receive a full refund, including processing fees.
