Skills Development - Throwing Taller Forms

Having trouble bringing all your clay up from the bottom of your piece? Want to use less clay to throw taller forms?

Join Nadine and learn how to bring height to your forms! In this 2-hour workshop, participants will work with Nadine to throw pieces as tall as they can, learning the techniques required to improve the height and stability of their cylinders.

This is an intermediate skills-only workshop. Participants are encouraged to throw it until they wreck it; firing and glazing of pots made is not included in this class and pieces will not be available to take home.

Participants should be comfortable using a pottery wheel and able to throw a 6” cylinder.

The minimum age requirement for this workshop is 16 years.

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS

Classes cancelled within 72 hours of the start date are subject to a refund or credit only if a replacement is found for your signup. Classes cancelled anytime prior to 72 hours from the start date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover our processing fees. Alternatively, you may request your refund be given in a Gift Card in which case there are no fees and the entire amount will be refunded to a gift card for you to use towards a future class.  Classes are subject to cancellation by Fired Clay in the case of low enrollment. If classes are cancelled by Fired Clay, you will receive a full refund, including processing fees.
