Wheel Sampler Workshop

Would you like to try throwing clay on a pottery wheel before committing to a six week class?  Join us for a 2 hour lesson as we introduce you to the art of throwing clay on a pottery wheel.   Every participant will work on their own wheel, and we provide all the materials.  You will create two pieces with some assistance from your instructor as needed.  We will later trim, glaze, and fire your works of art for you.  Your pieces will be ready for you to pick up in 2-3 weeks.

This workshop is beginner friendly, with a minimum age requirement of 16 years.

Participants must wear flat shoes, ideally with a rubber or non-slip sole.  Long hair should be tied back.    Please bring a lint-free towel.  Any beverages need to be in a closed-lid container.  Food is not permitted at the wheels.  You are working with clay and will get dirty so please take that into consideration when choosing your clothing.
