Get a handle on handles!

Pulled handles are a traditional and quick method for making handles for any kind
of pots, and they feel great in the hand.

Come learn all about making and attaching handles with Tracy, Fired Clay’s self-proclaimed Pulled Handle Evangelist. Tracy will guide participants through how to make and attach
handles, dive into troubleshooting common issues, and discuss the science of why some handles just feel better to hold.

This is an intermediate skills-only workshop. Firing and glazing of pots made is not included in this class and pieces will not be available to take home.

Participants should be comfortable working with clay, and are encouraged to bring a leather-hard pot to practice sticking handles on. We recommend bringing your own (cone 6) clay for this class, but can provide our studio reclaim upon request.

The minimum age requirement for this workshop is 16 years.

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS

Classes cancelled within 72 hours of the start date are subject to a refund or credit only if a replacement is found for your signup. Classes cancelled anytime prior to 72 hours from the start date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover our processing fees. Alternatively, you may request your refund be given in a Gift Card in which case there are no fees and the entire amount will be refunded to a gift card for you to use towards a future class.  Classes are subject to cancellation by Fired Clay in the case of low enrollment. If classes are cancelled by Fired Clay, you will receive a full refund, including processing fees.
